Slow measuring,
fast fitting.
Ember mesh only works if it is continuous. Every metre we fit is measured on the roof, folded on the bench and finished on the same visit. Here is exactly what happens from your first call to the annual reminder.

The survey, forty minutes
Daniel or Marcus walks your roof with a gap gauge and a notebook. We record gutter profile and length, valley count, ridge and hip cap openings, eave vent type, tile or sheet condition, tree overhang and your BAL rating if you have one. You also get the unglamorous truth: if your gutters need replacing first, we say so.

Specification & fixed quote
Within three business days you receive a written gap register and a fixed per-metre quote. It states the alloy, aperture, finish colour, fixing type and spacing, the openings we will screen and the ones we recommend leaving. Nothing is priced as an “allowance”.

Fitting day
Ladders and harness points set up first, gutters cleared, then mesh cut and crimped on site. Corners are folded rather than butted so there is no open seam. Saddles go in every 300 mm; screws are stainless. We sweep the beds, magnet-sweep the driveway and take all offcuts with us.

Walk-through, warranty, reminder
We walk the finished roofline with you from the ground and point out each treated opening. You receive a compliance summary, the ten-year workmanship warranty and a September reminder for the pre-season service. If something moves in the first summer, we come back at no charge.
Materials
What we put on your roof, and what we refuse to.
Everything in the system has to be non-combustible, corrosion-compatible with your roof metal and able to survive twenty Sydney summers of UV. That rules out a lot of what is sold at hardware stores.
- Marine-grade aluminium mesh, 1.8 mm aperture, powder-coated
- Stainless saddles and screws, with isolation where metals meet
- Aluminium valley returns folded on our own bench brake
- Removable ember baskets at every downpipe outlet
- No plastic clips, no fibreglass insect mesh, no silicone as a fixing
